Happy Mother's Day to all the moms and
mother figures yesterday! Y'all are the greatest I don't know where the
world would be without all of you :) I love Mother's Day as a
missionary because it means Skyping! It was so good to see family
yesterday, and Mikayla! Thanks for making the day great, miss and love
you guys!
Not too many exciting things happened
this week... we were able to meet with Chelsea (21 and less active) and
we had a good lesson with her, and she came to church!! She had met
with bishop the day before she met with us and he talked to her about
how if she lives the gospel, the Spirit will be felt more in her life.
It had a really strong impact on her and when we got to her house the
next day she asked if we could talk about certain specific things before
what we had planned to teach. She had a strong desire to learn and it
was just awesome. Sister Anderson begged me not for give up on her
because some of her companions have wanted to but I assured her there's
no way I would--one because she's already a member of the Church and we
have a responsibility to help her, and two because she is AWESOME! She
may go through phases, but "every soul is great in the sight of God."
The talks at church were really awesome and I'm so glad Chelsea came and
was able to hear them. They were on Motherhood of course and just super
awesome, I had a really good spiritual experience. Here are some of the
things that were said:
"Take time to listen, to pray, and to laugh with them" (kids)
"Happiness and joy come in small, little moments"
"Families need unstructured time to be together"
"Being a mother isn't about what you give up to be one--it's about what you gain being one"
2 Nephi 2:25--"Adam fell that we MIGHT have joy--having joy, it is our choice."
"Motherhood is our future"
Being
a mother/woman is the greatest calling. There might be a song or a
quote or something that says it's now a hobby to do if you have time,
it's what God gave you time for. Happy Mother's Day to all who have that
calling now or will in the future. It is definitely an eternal
calling.
Not sure what else to say today, the
week was good, the people and South are awesome, serving the Lord is the
best, and yeah! Nothing beats that. We're looking forward to another
great week here in Warner Robins!
Have the most blessed week!
Love y'all,

We're famous!!! We have a whole health food selection at Krogers :)
Happy
Cince de Mayo!!!! Hahaha. Panda Express is better anyways. (The Mexican
restaurant I ate at here wasn't very good and besides, super crowded on
Cinco de Mayo)
Sister Anderson was sweet and made me a card to celebrate 15 months in the field :)
Elder
Haines and I at our Zone Training Meeting, we both served in Waynesboro
and he was there when Brandy got baptized so we made a sign for her :)
